Is hostgator good to host huge traffic website?
Is hostgator good to host huge traffic website? Is hostgator VPS hosting reliable? These are the questions I have after I read a post,here is quote of the post:
I have been hosting all my sites in hostgator shared host plans for the last 2 years . their service has been excellent and server uptime also has been great compared to the cost we pay ..but recently my site traffic has increased some what and iam experiencing down 10-15 times a day.Thats a very bad problem as Iam losing my huge amount of traffic. when i contacted support team they suggested to move to their vps service .Instead I just moved half of my site to another hostgator shared account coz I liked their service so much. Yet again my sites are going down , so as of now im moving to some vps hosting as i heard hostgator is not that reliable in vps field.
I would recommend hostgator to any of those who have only some average traffic and not so big sql or db scripts something, its best to use hostgator . if u have some huge traffic and some load taking scripts, dont even think of hostgator shared…
